What does this Module do?
This VSSL MX Series Module allows a Crestron system to communicate with VSSL MX Series Media Players providing both control and feedback.
Features:
- Power: Toggling device into standby mode and powering on with power status feedback
- Source Switching: Control for switching between input sources, [network, wisa, optical, coax, line in], with feedback of the current input source
- Volume: Supports setting volume to a user-defined value along with volume up and down signals, with feedback for current volume and mute status
- Transport Controls: Transport actions: Play/Pause, Stop, Skip Forward, and Skip Back are supported by setting the corresponding digital input signals high
- Now Playing Feedback: Details of the current playing media is output by the module showing the tracks title, artists name, album name and art, along with track duration and track position in seconds.
- Media Navigation: Media Player component in the VT Pro panel allows browsing available media via available services (Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, etc)
- Intrinsic Platinum Integration – Official VSSL commissioned driver
- Driver uses Intrinsic(Athena) cloud technology for key free licensing, update alerts and enhanced support

The Intrinsic difference
Our drivers are all developed in-house, in the UK so you can be sure of the highest reliability and responsiveness when updates are required. We never use open source code or code libraries. All of our drivers are thoroughly tested in-house as well as externally through our Beta Programme before being offered on our website.
Support
All of our drivers/modules are supported free of charge through our Online Support system. We offer comprehensive support for all of our software that requires the purchase of a license key for as long as they are listed on the Intrinsic Dev website. If it’s your first time installing a driver or if you believe there is a technical problem simply submit a ticket via our Online Support system.
License
All of our software is available to download free of charge but will require licensing to function. Unless specifically noted only one license is required per controller/processor. You can run as many devices as required up to the limit supported by your chosen control platform.
Free Trial
All our drivers, excluding Licensed Partner Integrations (eg myQ), come with a free 14 day trial period. Simply download the driver and install to try all the features, and allow your clients to use the driver before purchase. Dealers can also obtain a free Showroom License without an expiry period for demo and testing purposes.
Easy setup
All of our drivers/modules come with comprehensive Integration Notes to ensure the easiest possible set up of our software. Many also have Installation Tutorial videos to further assist you. Please ensure you refer to these resources each time you install a new driver/module.
