What does this driver do?
This Shelly Relay Driver allows Nice hardware running Elan OS to communicate with Shelly Gen2+ relays as output devices in Elan OS. Designed specifically for Shelly’s latest Generation 2+ relay modules, this driver provides seamless control and real-time feedback for up to four independent relay channels, transforming Shelly devices into powerful automation endpoints inside any ELAN installation.
This Shelly Driver is perfect for energy management, low-cost PDU functionality, equipment rebooting, lighting, and contact closures, this driver unlocks the full potential of Shelly’s robust hardware for Elan OS.
Features:
- Relay Control: Expose Shelly Gen2+ relays directly to Elan OS as clean, reliable output devices, supporting On, Off, and the latest Reset command available in new Shelly firmware
- Supports 1–4 Channel Devices: Preconfigured for four relays but works perfectly with smaller Shelly models too (simply delete or ignore unused channels during setup)
- Real-Time Feedback: Channel states are automatically polled every 10 seconds to ensure Elan OS stays in sync without conflicting with other multicast-based integrations
- Reset Function for Power Cycling: With the newest Shelly firmware, relays can now switch off, pause, and switch back on without risking loss of network connectivity — ideal for remote reboot or PDU-style operation
- Multiple Devices Supported: Control as many Shelly devices as required. One driver instance per Shelly unit, but only one license required per controller

If it’s your first time installing a driver or if you believe there is a technical problem simply submit a ticket via our Online Support system.
License
All of our software is available to download free of charge but will require licensing to function. Unless specifically noted only one license is required per controller/processor. You can run as many devices as required up to the limit supported by your chosen control platform.
Free Trial
All our drivers, excluding Licensed Partner Integrations (eg myQ), come with a free 14 day trial period. Simply download the driver and install to try all the features, and allow your clients to use the driver before purchase. Dealers can also obtain a free Showroom License without an expiry period for demo and testing purposes.
Easy setup
All of our drivers/modules come with comprehensive Integration Notes to ensure the easiest possible set up of our software. Many also have Installation Tutorial videos to further assist you. Please ensure you refer to these resources each time you install a new driver/module.
