What does this driver do?
This Emotiva LX Series Driver for Control4 provides two-way IP control of the Emotiva LXP16 and LXR11 AV processors. It installs as two proxies: a receiver proxy for full processor control, and an “Emotiva Streamer” media service for the unit’s built-in streaming module, with TuneIn internet radio browsing and Now Playing feedback for the unit’s native streaming services.
Features:
- Discrete power on/standby with two-way feedback
- All 17 inputs selectable by name: TV (ARC), HDMI 1-4, Coax 1-2, Optical 1-2, Phono, Analog 1-3, Balanced, Streaming, Bluetooth, and USB-C
- Absolute volume (0-100) and discrete mute with live feedback, including volume changes made from a casting device (e.g. an iPhone during AirPlay)
- All six surround decode modes (Dolby Surround, DTS Neural:X, Native, Stereo, All Stereo, Auto) through the native Control4 surround selector
- Bass and treble with press-and-hold ramping; Centre, Sub, Height, and Surround speaker trims in 0.5 dB steps
- Room EQ selection including Dirac Live slots, front-panel dimmer, and on-screen menu navigation
- TuneIn internet radio browsing with Control4 room favourites (no TuneIn account required)
- Now Playing service and play-state feedback when the unit is streamed to natively (AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Google Cast, Tidal and others)
- Automatic room power-on when a native stream starts, and automatic room power-off when the processor is switched off
- Intrinsic Platinum Integration – Official Emotiva commissioned driver
- Driver uses Intrinsic(Athena) technology for key free licensing, update alerts and enhanced support

The Intrinsic difference
Our drivers are all developed in-house, in the UK so you can be sure of the highest reliability and responsiveness when updates are required. We never use open source code or code libraries. All of our drivers are thoroughly tested in-house as well as externally through our Beta Programme before being offered on our website.
Support
All of our drivers/modules are supported free of charge through our Online Support system. We offer comprehensive support for all of our software that requires the purchase of a license key for as long as they are listed on the Intrinsic Dev website. If it’s your first time installing a driver or if you believe there is a technical problem simply submit a ticket via our Online Support system.
License
All of our software is available to download free of charge but will require licensing to function. Unless specifically noted only one license is required per controller/processor. You can run as many devices as required up to the limit supported by your chosen control platform.
Free Trial
All our drivers, excluding Licensed Partner Integrations (eg myQ), come with a free 14 day trial period. Simply download the driver and install to try all the features, and allow your clients to use the driver before purchase. Dealers can also obtain a free Showroom License without an expiry period for demo and testing purposes.
Easy setup
All of our drivers/modules come with comprehensive Integration Notes to ensure the easiest possible set up of our software. Many also have Installation Tutorial videos to further assist you. Please ensure you refer to these resources each time you install a new driver/module.
