What does this driver do?
This Barco Runar Driver provides two-way IP control of the Barco Residential Runar DCI LED video wall, through the wall’s image processing box. It installs as a TV proxy: room on/off drives the display power, the room’s transport keys drive the wall’s built-in DSR media server for its pre-loaded DCI playlists, and the electronic grille and cinema presets are available as device commands for programming.
Control is IP only (HTTP on port 80 and TCP port 49153) no serial or IR hardware is required.
Features:
- Discrete display power on/off with two-way feedback
- Electronic grille control (normal display or black screen) with two-way feedback
- Cinema preset recall (Preset 1-8, by position in the wall’s preset list) with the active preset tracked from the wall, plus an on-demand preset list refresh
- Media server transport from the room remote: Play, Pause, Stop and Skip Forward (next CPL)
- Grille, preset and transport commands available to Composer programming as device commands
- Temperature monitoring: Wall main-board and highest cabinet-card temperatures published as Composer variables with dealer-editable text templates
- Media transport can be disabled per site for installations without the DSR media server
- Intrinsic Platinum Integration – Official Barco commissioned driver
- Driver uses Intrinsic(Athena) technology for key free licensing and enhanced support

Our drivers are all developed in-house, in the UK so you can be sure of the highest reliability and responsiveness when updates are required. We never use open source code or code libraries. All of our drivers are thoroughly tested in-house as well as externally through our Beta Programme before being offered on our website.
Support
All of our drivers/modules are supported free of charge through our Online Support system. We offer comprehensive support for all of our software that requires the purchase of a license key for as long as they are listed on the Intrinsic Dev website. If it’s your first time installing a driver or if you believe there is a technical problem simply submit a ticket via our Online Support system.
License
All of our software is available to download free of charge but will require licensing to function. Unless specifically noted only one license is required per controller/processor. You can run as many devices as required up to the limit supported by your chosen control platform.
Free Trial
All our drivers, excluding Licensed Partner Integrations (eg myQ), come with a free 14 day trial period. Simply download the driver and install to try all the features, and allow your clients to use the driver before purchase. Dealers can also obtain a free Showroom License without an expiry period for demo and testing purposes.
Easy setup
All of our drivers/modules come with comprehensive Integration Notes to ensure the easiest possible set up of our software. Many also have Installation Tutorial videos to further assist you. Please ensure you refer to these resources each time you install a new driver/module.
